He was indeed a pilot of a B-24 in Alaska. I believe he also was a flight instructor. I have his Air Force trunk and am planning on reading some of the letters he wrote to his parents this weekend. Are you the person that sent a letter to my brother's address in Sherwood, OR trying to trace the propeller from a B-24 in a museum in Homer, Alaska? FYI, my mother, Gloria, died in 1992.
