William V. Zartman
Dr. William V Zartman, a family practitioner in Beaverton for 24 years died Friday in his home of heart failure. He was 55 years old.
Dr. Zartman was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 19, 1920 lived at 8949 SW Becker Drive. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and Ohio State Medical School and completed his residency at Providence Memorial Hospital in Portland. He was on staff at Veterans Hospital and was a member of the Oregon Medical Association and the Physicians and Surgeons Hospital.
A memorial service will be at 2PM Wednesday, at the Valley Community United Presbyterian Church with interment at Skyline Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria, two sons, John and Paul, a daughter, Lynn all of Portland, a brother, John of Columbus, Ohio and a sister, Elizabeth Glasser of Shreveport, LA
I thought it odd that his time in the service was not mentioned in his obit.
