Obituaries
Coburg- A memorial service will be held Jan. 19 for Dorothy Lou Hall of Coburg, who died Jan. 14 of cancer. She was 85.
She was born Oct. 10, 1919, in Oklahoma to Weaver and Lela Sexton Adams. She married Nelson E. Hall in Yuma, Ariz., on Sept. 4, 1937. He died Oct. 4, 1990.
Hall lived in Redlands, Calif., Springfield and Silverton.
She lived in Lane county for 55 years.
She worked as a waitress, store clerk and employee with the US Postal Service.
She enjoyed sewing, oil painting and volunteering at Coburg Elementary School and the Coburg Senior lunch program.
Hall was a charter member of the Coburg Fire Department Auxillary and Diamond Rebekah Lodge in Coburg.
Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Manley of Eugene and Janelle Marshall of Myrtle Creek; one brother, Ralph Adams of Marcola; two sisters, Ruth Payne of Coburg and Mary Jenkins of Eugene; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Joan, died previously.
Visitation will be from 2-6 Tuesday and from 9 am to noon Wednesday at Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield.
Wednesday's service will be at 3 pm at Coburg United Methodist Church.
