My Dad and his Mother lived in Vanport from about 1942-1945/46. He attended grade school there, my uncle Don Webb went to Jefferson HS and Roosevelt HS. My Grandfather Thelbert Webb, worked at the Swan Island (shipyards?) for a time. He then went to Alaska and worked on a Dairy farm.

My Grandmother Delona Webb, was a cook at the grade school in Vanport. My Dad said he thought there was only one school at that time. My Dad is the only one still with us, his name is Gene Webb. He doesn't remember any Sato family members. But, it has also been a very long time. He doesn't have any school pictures from there, but would like to see some. I would too, especially if my Grandmother is in any of them. They had moved before the flood. Thanks
