Thank you so much for searching and finding more information on Historian Earl Spencer Pomeroy. I will follow up on the new information.

N. Dak. Rep. Earl Ralph Pomeroy III is my first cousin. We are direct descendants of Eltweed Pomeroy who came to America about 1630.

I am the West Coast Office (so far, the one-person volunteer) for the American Pomeroy Historic Genealogical Association based in Syracuse, New York. We are working on an update of the A A Pomeroy work, The History and Genealogy of the Pomeroy Family, pub 1912, the descendants of Eltweed Pomeroy. www.americanpomeroys.org.

I have been searching for a possible link between Eltweed Pomeroy and Historian Earl Pomeroy, and finally, looks like I have traced the connection. Eltweed, Joseph, Noah Sr, Noah JR, Charles, Charles, Charles, Edgar, Earl Spencer SR, and Earl Spencer JR, the Historian. We're hoping to make a connection with a living descendant of this line.

I'm also still searching for the immigrant ancestor link with the family of the Earl R Pomeroy line, listed in US Census as living in Lacomb, Linn County, Oregon.

We'll appreciate any information on any Pomeroys who lived in Oregon. We're working on a comprehensive project, THE POMEROYS OF OREGON. Thanks!
