Thanks for your efforts Susan. I am hoping to be able to locate his obit by contacting the local newspaper. Would love to know if he had family or what became of his mother etc. I have a few photos of him and one in particular that is a group photo that I would like help in identifying some of the folks included. I know that my great grandmother knew them, but they are not marked on the pics themselves. It is amazing how many questions are left unanswered over the years. His parents married in Missouri where my great grandmother was born and raised. They certainly went along way from "home" in the journey life took them on. Thank you again, Carla
