You may have this information already, other then the 1850 census I only found Margaret and Isabell in Oregon, Coos County, Empire City. 1870. Margaret age 59 born in Ohio, Isabelle age 17 born in Oregon.
I thought for sure Thornton would be easy to find.
Do you know any of the daughters married names? the online Oregon Marriage index covers the years 1906-1920, a little late for your family. The county clerk of Benton cty has marriage records from 1850. Coos county clerk has the marriage records from 1857.
