I'm working descending lines for two families in Lincoln, Seminole Co. and I only have one married name for one female, I would appreciate any others if known or contact with any one from either of these two families.
these two families connect together with the wives, both were Garison/Garrison women. They were daughters of William Francis Garison of Coweta Co. GA. and Eliza Jane McCollum or McCalem of Obion Co. TN.
McDaniel Family:
Earnest Walker McDaniel b: July 1874 in Kentucky
Ruth J. Garison McDaniel b: Dec 1877 in Obion Co. TN. but lived most of her young life in Sugar Loaf twp Sebastian Co. AR.
they married: 22 Jan 1898 CN, I.T.
children taken from census:
1. Hortence M. Apr 1899 Creek, Indian Territory census has it marked male & female
2. Harold M. 25 Jan 1910 d: 21 Mar 1910 and is buried in Lenna Cemetery, McIntosh Co. OK.
3. Clara B. abt. 1904 Indian Territory
4. Eulalia /Eulia\ Eulcilea M. b: abt 1907, each census has a different spelling for the name
The family is located in Township 10, Creek Nation on the 1910 census, and this is located in the Lenna area of McIntosh Co.

1920 Lincoln, Seminole Co.
1930 Lincoln, Seminole Co.

Reed Family, also shown on census as Reid
George W. Reed born abt 1863 AR. first marriage for George was to a Sallie, I suspect they married in Conway Co. AR. abt 1890.
children:
1. James Dec. 1895
2. Earl Dec 1899
1900 census the Reed family is living next door to the McDaniel family. George is living with Sallie and his two sons.
2nd marriage to: Carrie Garison b: Feb 1879 Sugar Loaf Sebastian Co. AR. They married abt 1903 either in Conway Co. or I.T.
children:
1. Grace b: abt 1904 I.T.
2. Maud b: abt 1906 I.T.
3. Ruth b: 1908 Oregon married a R.W. Peeler
4. George Jr. abt 1910 OK
5. Ralph abt 1912 OK
6 Esther abt 1915 OK
1910 they are living in Lincoln, Seminole Co.

On all of the census Ruth is listed as being born in Oregon, if so it had to be a very fast trip between her birth and the birth of the next child of abt. 1910. This move to Oregon must have had something to do with the Reed family that had moved earlier.
I recently received a copy of a letter dated Feb 2, 1983 that Mrs. R. W. Peeler wrote to Mr. Hart of the McCelvey Library in York Co. South Carolina in reference to research on the Garrison family.
It is signed Ruth Reed Peeler, so I'm pretty sure with the copy of her letter that we are definitely working the same lines. Address on the letter is 7354 Ravehill Lane, Dallas Texas.
