Sands in Oregon in 1890's

I am looking for information on my husbands 3rd great grandparents ___ Sands (b. Norway) and Ellen Bridget Walsh (b. Ireland). They came to the USA from England in about 1888 with their daughter "Gussie" Augustine (b. 1887 in England) and ended up in or near The Dalles or Cascade Locks Oregon. Sands probably died in Oregon between 1892 and 1895 as Ellen married William McKenzie in Oregon in 1895. Although I have information on their 5 children I have not found anything on them before 1889.
