Hi Marilyn, I think you're going to need to know Beverly's adopted name before you can begin to search for her. Take a look at the Oregon State Archives info on Adoption Research.

If you do get her adopted name, you'll have another challenge in that the last viewable Census records are 1930.

Oregon does has a Voluntary Adoption Registry, www.oregon.gov/DHS/children/adoption/adopt_registry/registry.shtml that you might want to look at too. Good Luck!
