Blassing, August H and Myrtle

My great grandfather was August H. Blassing. He was born in Germany in 1876, married Bertha B. Fairbanks in 1900, and left Iowa in 1901 after the birth of a daughter and death of his wife. I believe I have found record of him in Oregon marrying Myrtle Nutting in 1905. She died in 1951 and he in 1958. They apparently did not have any children as none are listed in the 1910-1930 censuses. I am trying to locate an obituary for August (or A.H.) who seems to have died in Washington Co., OR. Any help would be appreciated!
