Hi Pat, I didn't find Ira either.

However, I did find the Bonny family living in Union, Columbia Co., OR in 1910. Geo D., b. ME, 58, 1st marr, married abt. 14 yrs, farmer own farm; Eva, b. NC, 34, 2nd marriage & had given birth to 7 children who were alive in 1910; Edna, b. OR, 13; Rauth [their spelling], b. OR, 12; Hazle, b. OR 10; Gertrude, b. OR 8; Lenie, dau, b. OR 6; George, b. OR, 4; and Ulah Crain, b. OK, 16, daughter. Yes, it does show Oklahoma which might be just a mistake.

If George and Eva were married abt. 1896, I'd say there is a good chance that Ira died in TX. Unfortunately, they could have also married anywhere along the OR Trail too after Ira died.

I'd say you need to find where George and Eva were married. You might find this in either of their obituaries. I didn't look for their death info & can't go back now of I'll lose everything I just keyed in. I'd contact the Columbia County Oregon History and Genealogy, www.roots.web.com/~orcolumb/ and see what info they have. Hope this helps & good hunting!
