STANLEY, HON. CALVIN, of Newberg, was born in Indiana in 1848. In 1888 he came to Oregon and located in Newberg as a merchant. He has since been prominently identified with the Republican party in Yamhill County. He was elected to the legislature in 1894, and has again been nominated for that position.
