I'm trying to figure out exactly what you are needing or if it is just a descendant you want contact with.
When you say that you need help with Roy, do you need the census listings for his family?

In 1918 the family lived in Hubbard, Clackamas Co. Roy worked as a farmer. He was short, medium build, blue eyes and light brown hair.

I find them in Multnomah Co on the 1920 census:

1920;Census Place: Portland, Multnomah, Oregon; Roll: T625_1498; Page: 25A; Enumeration District: 5; Image: 846.
Household Members: Name Age
Edwin Casto 40
Fannie Casto 25
Joseph Casto 4 9/12
Charles Casto 2 1/12
Zebbie Hubbard 13~lodger

As far as "personal character" goes, 1930 doesn't seem to be a banner year for the rest of the family. Fanny is listed as an inmate in Salem and a Leonard J Casto age 15 is an inmate in a boys reformatory in Hubbard.

Do you have an obit for Fannie?

Laura
