Researching emigration to the United States from Lenningen in Luxembourg
Who has genealogical, biographical or documentary information on the following person(s)?
ROCK (John) Frederick, born in Lenningen, Luxembourg, son of Bernard ROCK and Elisabeth LEY, left Lenningen in 1883 for Paris, France, where he was in the wine trade and cooper business. Married Margaret Eich. Emigrated to the US in 1885, lived in Turkey Creek, Fillmore Co. NE. In 1888 he’s in Hecla, Brown Co. SD as a furniture and waggon maker as well as a timber and hardware merchant. In 1894 he settles in Stayton, Marion Co. OR
ROCK John Peter, born in Lenningen, brother of above. Sale of property and departure for the United States in March 1895.
ROCK Anna, born in Lenningen, probably sister of above. Sale of property in 1895. Married 1901 in St. Paul, Ramsey Co. MN in St. Agnes Church, to Mathias STEICHEN from Greiveldange, Luxembourg. In 1902 the couple lives in St. Paul, 773, Capitol Avenue.
