hello,I am searching every where for any info on Alfred Kirkland city councilmen 1916? toledo,oregon-may have been in newport helped with the makeing of hwy 101 in newport he was a civil engineer-told he worked for the railroad name unknown 1880s-1900s may have lived in portland areas then..Alfred K. died in newport,oregon 1934 buried eugene ORegon, I found no info.in newport I have his obit does not say much..I would love to find a photo of him ------ greatgrandfather where in portland did you work?
