Lang, Mary

In making a neighborly call yesterday, Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Mary Lang, Mrs. E. J. Miller found Mrs. Lang lying on her bed in the embrace of death. Mrs. Miller at once called Mrs. J. S. Flint, who resides next door, and Undertaker J. H. Miller was notified. Dr. Parrett was called who, after making an examination and finding life extinct, decided that death was due to the bursting of a blood vessel, somewhere in the pulmonary track, the indications being that this was caused by convulsion from coughing.
The body of Mrs. Lang was taken to the Miller undertaking parlors awaiting the arrival of relatives who have been notified. The funeral arrangements have not been announced, up to the time of our going to press.
Mrs. Mary Lang was a highly esteemed lady, about 57 years of age and had many friends in this community who will learn with sorrow of her sudden and untimely death. At the time of her taking away she was living alone and was apparently in the best of health.
To mourn her loss there are three daughters and four sons. Mrs. L. J. Flint of Corvallis; Mrs. William Perman of Portland; and Miss Mabel Lang of Tacoma; Orrin Lang of Emmett, Idaho; Ray Lang of Bremerton, Wash; and Claude and Dale Lang of Portland. These have all been notified and are expected to arrive today. Junction City Times Mar. 11, 1920 Junction City, Oregon
This obit came from a book project Iím working on, I donít know anything else about this person, or other obits in this area.
