Thank you for the information. Yes, this is my Mary Milan Brannan. Albert was quite the "rake and rambling boy." Circuit Court records for County of Clatsop, Oregon record an information affidavit from the DA that on 16 November 1898 Albert while married to Mary Brannan wed an Elizabeth McDonough for which he was convicted and was sentenced to the Penitentiary for 2 years. Witnesses on the affidavit were J. N. Hughes, Mrs Mary Brannan and Philip McDonough. I will see if I can get the records on the divorce from Clark County Court.
I am still trying to verify if the person listed for Granite Hill Cemetery, Josephine County, Oregon is the Mary Brannan listed above. I believe it is and a transcription error occurred on the spelling of the last name:
Branham, Marie M, b. 7/05/1863, d. 10/13/1904, In loving memory of our mother, Erected by the Women of Woodcraft, Plot O/17/L8-3, [JB]
