it looks like Raymond died in Kerby Oregon his obituary reads:
RAYMOND L. SCHNITGER:
Raymond Leslie Schnitger 75 of kerby died sunday June 29, 2003 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am monday at the Hillcrest Memorial Park mausoleum. Clausens Illinois valley funeral home in charge of the arrangements.
SCHNIGER was born Dec.8. 1927 in Cody Neb. from 1945 to 1949 he served in the US army. On Nov.5, 1949 in Portland he married Melba Greer,who died in 1995. Prior to his retirement he was a pattern maker at lockheed aircraft. He retired to the Illinois Valley in 1989.
Survivors include three sons, Gary SCHNITGER of bakersfield Ca. Raymond SCHNITGER of Grand Prairie, Texas and Graig SCHNIGER of Los Angeles:two daughters Sharon SCHNITGER of Wofford heights Ca. and Patricia Pipes of portland; and 10 grandchildren.
