DAY FAMILY-GRANT'S PASS AREA
Posted by: Phillip Baker (ID *****9002) Date: August 08, 2004 at 13:42:47

Seeking contact with a Day family member in Grant's Pass area of Oregon. My parents worked for a Day family member on a farm that had hops, fruit trees, and truck gardening in 1935-1937. I have a photo of the Day family home. The photo is taken about 1950. The house is white wood frame, two story, ? enclosed porch, side entrance that appears to connect to the garage. The house appears to have a second story dormer on one side and a flat deck over second story rooms on the other side. A large open barn and storge building for hops were nearby. (Hops building looks like a tobacco barn). Is there any one that recognizes this description and then know the Day family connected to this home?
