Thank you Sandy for your response. I tried your e-mail, but couldn't seem to get through.

I don't know a lot about Armilda or her son Victor, however they are both buried at Mt. View Cemetery in Ashland. I would say they lived in that area.

Armilda is my 2nd great grandmother. She was born Nov 1851 and died 10 Mar, 1929. Birth place unknown. Her daughter thought it was County Dubois, Ireland, however that does not exist. So was possibly Dubois Co, IN. She married Franklin Milburn sometime before 1875, supposedly in IN, but unknown what county. Franklin was from Gibson Co. They had 3 know children: Minnie Myrtle (my great grandmother)b. 28 July 1875, d. 1973, Victor b. 1881 and Lulu b. ??, supposedly married ?? SHORT and lived in Wallowa Co, OR. I have not been able to find out anything on Lulu. My biggest problem on all this mess is that my grandmother died when my mother was 11 months old and my mother was adopted by distant relatives on her father's side. So my mother never saw this side of the family again until my grandmother's siblings were in very advanced years. So I received a little information from them, but I have found a lot of it to be not fully accurate.

As for Armilda, we think her maiden name might of been WOODS. However I have not been able to locate her on the 1870 IN census. How she and Victor ended up in Ashland is a mystery. No one mentioned the BRITTENHAM marriage at all. I just happened to find out when I wrote to Mt. View asking if an Armilda MILBURN was buried there. Luckily they responded that they did not have an Armilds Milburn, but did have a Victor Milburn who is buried in the same plot as his mother, Armilda Brittenham. The information on Victor correspondes with what I have received on him.

You can see how little I have on these people, so any help you could give be would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Debbie Doyle
