Hello Harlene

I have occasionally heard of these types of finds, but have never been able to confirm them.

I know it is probably difficult for your older friend, but perhaps she can give more information about the find to help narrow the search.

So as not to put names on the forum, you can contact me at this email address. I have spaced it to avoid junk mail.
Just put it all together [remove the spaces]

What time of year - the month?
Can she narrow the year?
What was her uncle's name?
Did the uncle or her family live in Jackson county?
If so, what were their names.
Does she remember anything else about the campground?
Lakes, rivers, stores ....towns ...?
Does she remember when the article was written or anything about the newspaper, magazine, ... and how long it was after the find that it was written.

I know that is a lot to ask, but the more information the better chance of "solving" this interesting mystery.

And of course, the chances are slim we can actually solve it, but why not try.
