It's Cindy, Geraldyn Banks grandaughter. My great-grandmother was Florence E. Banks and Llewellyn's first wife. It's quite a history we share. Lew has always fasinated me and I know my Uncle Walter is equally interested in our family history. I know you have kept in touch with him over the years. My father (Walter's brother) never wanted me to know of our family history but thankfully uncle Walt filled me in on everything. When Lew's brother Chester was dying and asking for me, my parents would not allow me to go to his side for fear he would reveal some horrible truths. The drama!!
I donated some family photos to the Oregon Historical Society in Medford to kind of bring together Lew's two families. They were grateful to have the pictures.
I hope you are well. Perhaps someone who wants to know a bit more about Lew's life before Medford will write to me. He left quite an impression in the Monrovia, California area as well. I have a picture of my father and his brother (my uncle Walt) in front of the old family house in Monrovia.
