Jackson County Sheriff's deputies are continuing their investigation of a double homicide discovered about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Trail area. Deputies reported finding the bodies of two long-time residents when they went to their home on Elk Creek Road to investigate a report received from friends that they had not seen the couple for a few days. Dead are Adolph Larson, 76, and his wife, Maxine Larson. They died as a result of gunshot wounds received sometime during the past two days. Deputies said they are following good leads in the case but declined to reveal the nature of those clues.
