John,
I looked at your other postings and could not find any additional information on this Walter. Just because someone can't find them in the US Census in 1930 or before, does NOT mean they can't be found. Some researchers can only find people up to 1930, and only if they have Ancestry.com.

SO... Tell me/us about Walter. Who were his parents and sisters? If he was born in Prairie City, did they live there? Did he continue to live with one of his parents. Do you know if his sisters married, to whom and when? He graduated and worked as a logger...in Prairie City or somewhere else. Since his parents were separated, did he live with his mother and possibly have been adopted by the new husband..thus a name change?

When posting, it is SOOOO very important to give enough information for the researcher, otherwise most will not respond.
