Hi John, I didn't find a Walter Weinberger, however, the 1930 Census is the last one viewable to the public at this time. If he was born after 1930, he wouldn't appear on the Census. If his family moved to Oregon after the 1930 Census, they wouldn't appear either.

I'd check the Grant County Oregon History and Genealogy web site, www.oregongenealogy.com/grant/index.htm and see if there is anything helpful there. There's also another web site at http://gesswhoto.com/grant.html that might be helpful. You can also write to Grant County Gen. Soc., PO Box 418, Canyon City, OR 97820, Contact person LInda Cook.
