Aaron Rose was born June 20 1813 in ulster County,New york,one of 6 children of William Rose and Hannah Satler he arrived in Oregon August22 1851 . from 1856-1857 Rose served as a member of the territorial Legislature
he died March 1 1899 and is buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Roseburg

I am not a researcher of this line but I do Live in Roseburg,I got the above information out of a little book called"Reflections of the Umqua" it is a small soft cover book of varied stories about the community,the Story on Rose is 2 small pages,written by Caralyn Northcraft I bought my copy at:
