If probate records exist for Enoch Wimberly, they'd be available from the Douglas County Clerks Office. At this web address: http://www.co.douglas.or.us/clerk/archives.asp you will find instructions on how to requests copies and what records are available. They charge a small fee for copies and are very accommodating. I have ordered a lot of records from them over the years.
Arkansas would be the place to look for guardianship papers, if it was handled legally.
I will email you directly with an obit for one of Enoch's grandchildren. There are living descendents listed who might be able to assist you.
