My notes show that there is an Oregon Supreme Court case reported at 66 Oregon 252 (1913) in which Mrs Augusta Henrietta Lehman had had 6 children, including Louise A. Lehman and Robert O. Lehman. She later married William C. Burke, and she and Burke executed reciprocal wills in 1885 in which they both promised to leave everything to her children after they both died. She died October 13, 1905. William C. Burke died with a will executed in 1908 leaving everything to Louisa A. Lehman. In 1910 Robert O. Lehman filed a law suit attacking the 1908 will and proffering instead a will executed April 29, 1885, in which Burke left everything to Robert O. Lehman and Louisa A. Lehman, his step children, to Emma C. McKinney, and to Mary T. Lehman.
My notes also show:
Mrs Ray Lehman - attended a meeting of the Sunday School class of the Lookingglass Methodist Episcopal Church Saturday evening November 16, 1929 at the home of Mr and Mrs T. W. Morgan. News Review November 23, 1929 page 2 column 3
Mollie Lehman - she is a teacher at Brockway in 1884, per Bette Dickover in Douglas County Pioneer vol 3 # 3 page 18 (1989)
Mrs Louise Lehman - she attends the 50th anniversary party of Elias Rhoades Sr and Alice Rhoades at their home on West Mosher Street Saturday evening November 2, 1929. News Review November 9, 1929 page c column 2
John Lehman - He teaches at Drain High School, attends the UofO - USC football game at Eugene November 9, 1929, and then goes home to Oregon City to visit his mother Mrs ___ Spangler. News Review November 14, 1929 page 7 column 6
I also have some notes on a Mrs Carl Lehman, who lives in Tacoma, Washington in 1929 but visits her parents David P. McKay and Mary Ellen McKay in Wilbur for Xmas 1929. She may have been born Vera Eulalia McKay. She has children Alethea Lehman and Delwin Lehman.
