The Conn's were an affluent family in the Roseburg area. I don't know off hand if Ethel was from the Roseburg Conn's, but I would guess she was. They lived in what is now the Melrose area, across the road from the current Melrose Elementary School. There is a family cemetery on the the property. I will check the old records and see what I can find.
