Funeral record for the Ginn's Funeral Home are now in the possession of the Caldwell's Luce-Lawton Mortuary & North Coast Crematory, 1165 Franklin Avenue, Astoria, Oregon 97103. I received the photocopy and will forward it to you.

Excerpts from the Grinn's Funeral Home record, "Vital Statistics" section for:
Name: James W. PATTISON.
Trade: Sawmill Sawyer (Retired).
Age: 72 - 10 - 29.
Date of Death: 24 April 1940 .
(Research Note: The year was typed incorrectly and should be 1941. The person I talked to at Caldwell's said she was writing in the correct year, 1941. When I received the photocopy, she had written "(1941)" behind the year 1940. She didn't strike out the original typed in year.)
Husband or wife of: Divorced.
Place of Death: Home.
Physician: Dr. R. W. Kullberg.
Date of Birth: 26 April 1861.
Place of Birth: Baltimore, Dorchester County, Maryland.
Name of Father: No record.
Name of Mother: No record.
Information: Mr. BYERS....Warrenton (Prouty Mill).
Survivors: Sister, Miss Blanche L. PATTISON, 32 West Kirke Street, Chevy Chase, Maryland.
(Research Note: The information about James didn't come from his sister, but came from Mr. Byers at the Prouty Mill, where James worked before he retired.)

Date: 29 March 1941, 3:30 PM.
Place: Chapel.
Clergyman: Rev Fedje

Cemetery Information:
Interment: Ocean View Cemetery.
City: Astoria.
Section/Block: 41. Lot: 65. Grave: B.
(Research Note: The Ocean View Cemetery is actually in the town of Warrenton, not Astoria.)
