I am trying to find information regarding Gottlieb Myers. I believe that he is my Gr.Gr. Grandfather. His wife, Anna Barbara Kaiser, is shown on the 1870's census as the head of household in Big Creek, Union County, Oregon. (Big Creek was also known as Jamestown.) There is no mention of Gottlieb. Census information at familysearch.org shows Anna Barbara and 5 children. Of these 5 children, all of the older children are listed as born in Pennsylvania from 1856 to 1866. The youngest child, Anna Indiana Myers, was born in Oregon in 1868.
The 1880 census shows Anna Barbara Kaiser married to James Bailey Sams. This census lists the children as James' step-children.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone with information that might tie in to any of these names.
