Hi Laura,

Wow! What you found listed in the 1910 Census for Effie, matches, i.e., age, place of birth for her, and her father and mother. Would you mind if I asked, what was Arthur Evert's occupation in the 1930 Census? If he was a Laundryman, that would explain Arthur.

You said that in the 1910 Census for Baker County, there was an Effie A., married to Thomas Palmer. My info, as lacking as it may be, as her listed as Effie M, but I'm not going to quibble over middle initials at this point :<)!

Many thanks for taking the time to follow up on my posting, as you may have found what I've been searching for. I will let you know, what I come up with, thanks to your input. Genealogy is fun, except when you keep hitting those brickwalls. But, thanks to you, my brickwall might have disappeared.

Many thanks,

Kathy
