FTM2012 - Book Questions

Russ, I updated from FTM2006 to FTM2012 and have completed adding all my data. I am now ready to put my hard earned work into book form but I need some further instructions than I have found by reading "Create a genealogy book using FTM2012" and other pieces of instruction. I would like to take my questions one step at a time so you can give me your expert advice which I appreciate.

1. I have created my Genealogy Book, Title and Table of Contents page.

2. Now I want to do a Dedication Page along with a media image. I used Smart Story (Text Item) and I was able to type what I wanted and able to insert my image & size it the way I wanted. I'm not sure this is the correct way though. In V2006 I was able to use Place Holder which worked great. But in V2012 Place Holder does not have a copy/paste feature. It gives me a blank grayed out page. It also does not contain the fonts necessary as Smart Story (Text Item) does. (Haven't found much information in V2012 for using Place Holder).

Can you please tell me if using Smart Story (Text Item) is the way to do these miscellaneous pages? The reason I'm asking is that the Table of Contents does not read my wording "Dedication Page" but gives this as a Smart Story (Text Item). I have several pages like this I need to insert so if I can get one correct I can do the rest hopefully.
