All FTM including MAC 2 has a License or Serial Number.
What License? What Serial Number? the one that is give so you can register your product.
I am guessing you have a Mac, AND that you are using FTMM-2, right? I am using a MAC and purchased FTM MAC 2 and registered the product.
Did you Register FTMM-2, from the Help menu? I registered the product when I installed and was asked do you want to Register.

I left the email intact so you could read the entire messarge that I received. First time that I had heard that FTM did not do there on Software and Registration.
