Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

First off, let me thank you for your prompt attention to my problem.
In response to your questions, and keep in mind I am one of the technologically challenged folk, it's possible that I used AMT but not sure, it was so long ago.

Regarding editing my home page, I am using the correct user name & log in. I have a copy of the confirmation for Genealogy.com.

I had logged into Ancestry.com the other day and deleted my tree (at least I thought I had) . I checked today and it doesn't appear that I have a tree listed on Ancestry.com but my tree still appears on the internet.
