Jim

You need to contact Betty Lee Hudson. The email I have for here is bleehud@aol.com She has done extensive research on the Baltimore Onion line and even published a book. I know she had info on the McComas line. Maryland has quite good records especially before the Rev as it was basic owned by a single man and he requires copies of every transaction sent to the colony headquarters at Annapolis So even if the courthouse burned copies exist at the state level. After the Rev War there are spots but its still pretty good compared to some states.
