I just want to record that the headstone for Lucretia Ong (1832-1904) is in the city cemetery of De Beque, Colo.
Joseph Eli Ong and my father John Nathan Ong, Sr. lived there with the other immediate family. I think, based on other research I did in 1976 in Grand Junction, Colo., that there were other Ongs out there but my notes are not accessible right now, so I can't offer any facts or speculation on where Lucretia may have come from. She's not mentioned in the Ong Family of America (1906).
I looked at every headstone in that cemetery in 2006 and found no other Ongs.
If anyone knows who she might be, please let me know.
