Mike, good to hear from you again. William Henry Ong was NOT my grandfather, as he was my grandmother's brother. Here's probably more than you want to know about this part of the Ong line:
Adolphius Everhart Ong, b 1 Jun 1863 in PA. married Grace Elizabeth Shepherd on 4 Nov 1889 in Thayer, KS. Grace was born 22 Feb 1871 in Thayer, KS. Adolphius died 21 Oct 1899 in Ringwood, OK. They had three children. Grace remarried in 1901 and two additional children. The three Ong children are as follows:
1) William Henry Ong, b. 25 Nov 1890 in Altoona, KS. Died 30 Jan 1975 in Fredonia, KS. Married Margarette Kennedy on 6 Nov 1919. Margarette was born in 1895 and died 22 Jan 1976 in Fredonia. They had two children: William Kennedy Ong (b. 14 May 1921, d. 8 Aug 1971) and John Ong (b. 14 May 1924) John Ong married Delores Ann Berron and they still reside in Fredonia, KS.
2) Aulta Cathrine Ong (my grandmother) was born 7 Jul 1895 in Ringwood, OK. and died 11 Mar 2000 in Wichita, KS. She married Milton Curry Beets on 11 Sep 1918. Milton was born 30 Aug 1897 in Garber, OK and died 15 Aug 1945 in Wichita, KS. They had three sons, all still living: 1) Max Ong Beets (my dad) b. 29 Dec 1919, 2) Wallace Milton Beets b. 12 Jan 1923 and 3) B. Eldis Beets b. 30 Dec 1929.
3) Kale Rodie Ong - you have the details on him.
