O'NEILL Mary (nee Stogrin) was born January 22, 1926 in Smoky Lake, Alberta to parents Stephan and Domka. On January 18, 2008, after a long life filled with laughter, Granny O' passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Predeceased by husbands Steve Korbutt and Robert O'Neill, brothers Nick and sisters Dilly and Lu. She will be greatly missed and remembered with love by sons Lorne (Ellen), Rob (Eileen), Grant (Donna) and daughter Lorraine, as well as grandchildren Jessica (Sean), Matthew (Ellen), Elizabeth, Trevor, Connor, Colton, Jackson and Tanner. Travel, gardening, flirting and meeting new people were her passions in life and she made those around her laugh and smile with her antics. Despite her declining health, Mary remained the life of any party and had an amazing sense of humour until the end. Special thanks to Dr. Ken Miki for going above and beyond for Mary and her family. Please join us to celebrate her life at Fraser Heights Chapel, 14835 Fraser Highway, Surrey B.C. Saturday, February 2nd at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Mary's favourite charity, the Union Gospel Mission.
