hi everyone,
i'm susanna. My maternal grandmather's , great great grand mother(great grand mother's mum) was a "Miss O'neil" who married a Srilankan & came to live in Srilanka in the 1820s. i hear that she had two daughters who got married to dutch burghers in Srilanka & their surnames after marriage were "Vandenberg" & "Vanburan". i have no other details at the moment. i would love to trace out the history of my family. So if anyone knows about this, please do let me know.
