I would appreciate some correspondence on Frederick O'NEAL and Elizabeth O'NEAL mentioned in a 1772 SC Berkeley Co memorial by Adam WHETSTONE (perhaps also seen as WOOTEN WEZSTEIN VELSTEIN VELSTEINE LETSTINE VELSTIN WHITSTONE EIHSTON) concerning land originally granted 1739 in Amelia Township to Mary BROADWAY or BROADAWAY as shown at the following: http://www.archivesindex.sc.gov/Archives/search/details.asp?index=145275&table=AllArchivalData&tableLook=MainIndex http://167.7.33.100/onlinearchives/Thumbnails.aspx?recordId=105304 There may be some connection to the following Elizabeth BROADAWAY who died abt 1822 Sumter Dist SC: http://167.7.33.100/onlinearchives/RecordDetail.aspx?RecordId=304920 There may be some connection to Philip POOL, Thomas ABERHART (maybe also seen as EVERART or EVERARD) or Thomas HOWELL (or POWELL). Perhaps, the O'NEALs are associated through Moses MITCHELL; or John LACEY (or LACY); or the O'HEARN (HEARN or O'HERIN). There may be no connection; but, they're in close proximity. (CAMMELL, CAMPBELL, CARTER, HOLLINGSWORTH, SEALE and WEEKLEY or WAKELEY or on close tracts.) I'm interested in possible religion affiliations for clusters of these names. I had thought O'NEAL would be Quaker. Any comments or suggestions for further research will be greatly appreciated. Notify Administrator about this message?
