Looking for family connection of Olwine to Miller in Fayette Co. Pa. William J. Olwine's will was probated in Fayette Co. in 1940. The will listed nieces and nephews as Alonzo H. Miller (1852-1929), Clarissa (Miller) Rockwell (abt. 1854), Mary E. Miller, Sarah E. Miller (who cared for him in his elder years and remained at the estate until her death--88y/0 in 1940), and Leander Miller as well as Metzgers and other surnames. Alonzo's parents were Hiram and Mariah (Metzger) Miller but where does uncle Olwine come into the family. Did he marry a Metzger? William J. Olwine was a wealthy man from Wharton, Pa., and provided nicely for his nieces and nephews in his will. Would like to understand this piece of the family puzzle? Was he possibly a great uncle? Anyone with information on this family lineage please email me at terrieraymer@hotmail.com Thanks Terrie
