Runnels Eugene Olvey was my first cousin. His father, John Fredrick Olvey was brother to my mother Olive Marie Olvey. Uncle Fred died before I was born, but I remember well Aunt Hazel who was Runnels' mother. Our grandfather was John Allison Olvey. Cousin Edwina Williams has compiled Olvey family history back to mid 1700's in North Carolina. She's at EdwinaW2@aol.com. Is Runnels your grandfather?
