This may be a long shot but here's hoping...
I am looking for ANY information on my GG Grandfather- JOHN PETER OLSSON. He was born around 1870 and is of Swedish decent. He met my GG Grandmother- LOUISE GARNHAM and they had a child (my Grandfather Carl) in 1903 in Mile End England. I cannot find a marriage reg. but Louise is listed as Olsson formerly Garnham. John was listed on the birth record as a journeyman carpenter. John left England prior to 1911 (he is not on the census) to set up a new life in the States with the family to follow, but he supposedly died at sea on the way. Louise was previously married to Henry Joseph Stevens continued to use the Stevens name, changed Carl's name to Charles and dropped Olsson for Stevens due to the war.
If anyone has any info or suggestions on where to find John I would be eternally grateful.
