Well, I found page 87 in the Flo HFL for 1886-1895. I don't understand where the wife of a farm owner and son of a farm owner came from for Kajsa and Axel but this page says that the widow Kajsa Johansdotter, born 1 November 1830 in Björke and her son Axel, born 29? 23? or something else 1869 in Flo registered to go to North America on 27 April 1888. Her certificate number was 19 and his certificate number was 17. GID # 1027.7.9200 There is no indication of that last name. I never saw Axel on Emihamn but I played a bit with the source numbers (erasing one more number at the end) and now I see him. First name: AXEL O Last name: RUSSHED Age: 18 Gender: M Parish: FLO County: R Port: GÖTEBORG Date: 1888 05 04 Destination: HAYWARD Fellows: NEJ Source: 35:224:19704 The list now looks like this and I wonder if somehow there was confusion from the transcriber who saw the man named Ruckman and somehow thought your relatives had some of those letters in the name. At any rate, I still think this is your family on Emihamn, despite the last name.
