Thanks for your quick reply, Zlatica. Yes, John (Jan) was alive for the 30's census, however he passed in 31. I was most interested in learning what your info was on the two Jan's that you found in the ellis island records. When I type in the name Jan Olsafski, I get nothing in return. They say there is no one by that name, so I was suprised to see your post where you found two coming over, and was wondering if you could share that info with me on here? I still need to get all my info on him and get it back to you, sorry I wasn't prepared today, I will be next time.
