Correction to Family Tree -- Rita Ollis ---

I am the son of Rita Ollis, (from Whitaker Branch, Avery Co. NC) who is not listed on the Family Tree Maker web link. I was simply interested in our name when I ran across the web-site for the first time and realized my mother had been omitted and her sister was listed wrong. I have no idea who to tell or if anyone can really do anything about it. I do not know the short hand and/or numbering system you use on this site. Nor do I have any idea if anyone can even correct this site. However, this may be of interest to some of you "Ollis die-hards" either way.

On Family Tree Maker's web site / OLLIS pg. 24 --- (see link below)

Ollis, Woodfill Baskan (My Great Grandfather)
Ollis, Audie Married Buchanan, Bertha (My Grandfather and Grandmother)

Their children in Chronologic order were:

Ollis, Verta
Ollis, Boyd
Ollis, Edward
Ollis, Rita
Ollis, Lois
Ollis, Wayne

As you may have noticed on the web site -- Rita was not listed at all. Verta was listed where Rita should be, and there is no Vesta at all. I can see how Vesta/Verta could be easily confused but there is only one (my awesome aunt verta)!!!! Quite possibly the sweetest woman on the face of the planet!!!!!

I am not 100% sure about all their birth dates, and you may not care!!! LOL!!!! The family has grown a great deal. In fact, they are all grandparents now, so there are a couple generations not listed.

If you would like any further information about my small branch of the tree, please feel free to contact me. However, I assure you I could not even be considered an amateur ---- I'm still trying to find out who I am. I'm not sure how much help I can be.

Thank you all for helping organize this information.
If anyone is interested in helping correct these, please let me know. I will be glad to help -- but I'm clueless!!!!
