Interested in descendants of Laurence Ollason (1760-1850) and wife Janet Sinclair (1779-1863) who lived in Dunrossness, Shetland Islands, UK

Children were:
Robert Ollason (1808-1850) m. Helen Smith
John Ollason (1811-1870)
Sinclair Ollason (1809- abt. 1889)m. Mary Henry
Susanna Ollason (1813-1891) m. John Henderson*
Laurence Ollason (1815 -)m. Janet Sinclair (they were cousins)
Janet Ollason (1818 - after 1897)
William Ollason (1821 - 1850)
Peter Ollason (1823-1850)

*Note: John Henderson drowned when his ship, The Enterprise sank at sea in 1850. Along with him were his three brothers-in-laws, Robert Ollason, William Ollason, and Peter Ollason. All lost at sea.

Susannah Ollason Henderson, widow of John Henderson went to America with her family and settled in Watsonville, CA.

Sinclair Ollason went to America and settled near Carmel, CA and ran a dairy operation. He had a large family who settled in Pacific Grove, Salinas, Moneterey and Watsonville, CA
