Pierre and Betsy Adams first appeared on the Louisiana census of 1870 with their children or grandchildren, Francois, Anatasie, John Telemas, Pierre, and Carmelite.Previously, they were slaves in Central Louisiana.
I am looking for the following information:
· Information that will verify whether the children listed below are children or grandchildren of Pierre and Betsy Adams.
· Information regarding any of the children.John Telesmas and Pierre were separated from their parents (or grandparents) and sent to work and live on other plantations.I have no information on the child, Pierre.
· Information regarding the names of the plantations that the family lived on.I have been told through oral history that the slaves traveled the "Fru-jay" River in Louisiana when they first arrived.
· Any information on the Sebille farm, Olivier Plantation, or the town Praire Boss.
I know that one of the children, Anatasie, and her husband lived on the Olivier plantation.I would like to get any information that anyone would like to share.
